The revised app is now available.

The Diocese of Owensboro recently launched a new website and smartphone app to better serve the Catholics of western Kentucky and reach out to those who wish to renew their faith or have an interest in the Catholic Church.

The website and app were designed and developed by Red Pixel Studios of Owensboro. The Diocese of Owensboro’s Office of Communications worked with Red Pixel Studios to completely reorganize the content of the site to make it much easier to locate information and connect with the people and ministries of the diocese.

The site incorporates a custom design with numerous features developed especially for the needs of the Diocese of Owensboro. The site also employs a responsive design which transforms for an optimal experience on any device, whether desktop computer, smartphone, or tablet.

With the website and app, the Diocese of Owensboro introduces a comprehensive online directory of the people and parishes that form its membership. Users can find a parish, school, priest or even a Mass time, as well as connect with a member of the diocesan staff.

The website and app are integrated such that content can be simultaneously updated on each platform within a single content management system, using exclusive technologies developed by Red Pixel Studios. This is critical for managing the extensive directory featured on the site and app.

The new website can be accessed at owensborodiocese.org. Download the free app to phone or tablet in the App Store or in Google Play.
