Jubilee of Migrants celebration

Saturday, October 4th, 1:00pm at St Stephen’s Cathedral

Bishop William Medley will preside the celebration of Holy Mass in recognition of our various ethnic and cultural families present in our diocese. A procession will depart from Brescia University at around 12:30pm.

Within the context of this Jubilee Year, the Church in the United States also observes its annual National Migration Week celebration between September 22-28. https://www.usccb.org/nmw

Notably, this will also coincide with the Jubilee of Migrants in Rome, Oct 4-5 with the theme “Migrants, missionaries of hope”. https://www.iubilaeum2025.va/en.htmlTherefore, therefore, this will also be an opportunity as pilgrims for Migrants and Refugees to visit and cross the Holy doors of St. Stephens Cathedral and feel the embrace of their bishop at our main designated pilgrimage site in the diocese.
