The Diocese of Owensboro Office of Marriage & Family Life was awarded a $50,000 matching grant from the Catholic Marriage Initiative in 2022. With generous donors and local foundations helping us fully fund our match, we are investing $100,000 toward building stronger marriages in western KY over the next several years.
Marriage preparation is a good start, but a comprehensive marriage ministry also provides on-going support to keep good marriages healthy. Enrichment opportunities like Grace Marriage and retreats help married couples stay connected, communicate better, and love as God intended.
For marriages in crisis, we also offer several support ministries to help struggling marriages.
