March 25-26, 2017
Deadline to Register: February 24!
The Family Life Office is pleased to bring our married couples in the Diocese of Owensboro an opportunity to attend our Living the Gift of Marriage – Married Couple’s Retreat on March 25-26, 2017 at Lake Barkley Lodge in Cadiz, Kentucky.
This retreat is led by Mario Sacasa, a licensed marriage and family therapist and director of counseling services at Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mr. Sacasa applies St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body to present day marital issues. He brings humor, story and lecture to this diocesan-based retreat to engage couples to see the great gift God has given them in their marriage and practical ways to love their spouse in their day-to-day encounters. Whether you are looking for Something to bolster your marriage or need tangible skills to help through some troubled times, this is the event for you.
You can read more about him on his website.
There are two options to consider when registering for the retreat. They are as follows:
- Tier 1 Pricing – $225 per Couple: includes one night lodging for Saturday, March 25; continental breakfast; lunch and dinner on Saturday; and breakfast on Sunday.
- Tier 2 Pricing – $300 per Couple: includes same as above but with one additional night lodging for Friday night, March 24 and Saturday, March 25.
