Year of Community

Thursday, March 12 | Owensboro Convention Center

Bishop William F. Medley invites all priests, religious, deacons, diocesan, school and parish staffs to join him on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at the Owensboro Convention Center for a Day of Discipleship as we kick-off our third year in the Office of Evangelization’s four-year plan entitled, “Living as Missionary Disciples.”  Our theme this year is Community. Our keynote speaker is Tim Glemkowski. The event begins with registration and a social hour from 9-10 AM and will conclude at 3 PM.

Tim Glemkowski is the founder and president of L’Alto Catholic Institute, a not-for-profit apostolate dedicated to helping parishes form disciples. He graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville with a double major in Philosophy and Theology. While teaching high school theology, Tim also received an MA in Theology from the Augustine Institute in Denver, CO. He has served for several years in parish life as both a director of youth and young adult ministry and a director of evangelization and catechesis. His favorite thing to do is hike in the mountains with his wife, Maggie, and daughter, Eva.
