Disaster Relief

Disaster Response History

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Owensboro formed a dedicated Disaster Relief Team following the devastating December 2021 tornadoes that struck western Kentucky communities such as Dawson Springs, Mayfield, Princeton, and Bremen. Since then, our team has continued to walk with families in times of crisis—most recently responding to the spring 2025 storms and flooding across western Kentucky, while also supporting recovery efforts in other parts of the state through case management.

Whenever disaster strikes, Catholic Charities is ready to respond swiftly and compassionately. With a proven track record of service, we remain committed to offering hope, healing, and practical assistance to our communities during their most difficult times.
