Time: 2PM – 6PM

Step Into a Story of Hope Owensboro has been chosen as a stop for the People of Hope Museum, a premier national touring exhibit from Catholic Charities USA. Housed in a custom 53-foot tractor-trailer, this immersive experience goes far beyond photos on a wall.

What You’ll Experience Inside:
-
The Storytelling Studio: Watch 42 powerful, professionally produced films featuring the “hidden heroes” of our country, staff and volunteers who have stood in the gap for neighbors in their darkest moments.
-
The Poverty Simulator: Step into the shoes of those living on the margins. This interactive experience challenges you to make the difficult, real-life decisions thousands of families face every day.
-
Share Your Voice: Visit our on-site recording booth to tell your own story of someone who gives you hope. Your story could become part of the national archive!
Make an Immediate Impact Don’t just learn about hope, create it.
Day 1 marks the kickoff of our Community Food Packaging Drive. Our goal is to assemble 2,000 food boxes for Headstart families across 16 Western Kentucky counties. Whether you can pack five boxes or fifty, your hands are needed.
Connect with Your Community Meet local leaders and explore booths from area nonprofits. Discover exactly where your talents meet the community’s greatest needs. Whether you have an hour a month or an afternoon a week, there is a place for you to make a difference.
Admission is Free. Hope is Contagious. Bring the Family.
