The letter, Patris corde (“a Father’s heart”) was released on the 150th anniversary of the proclamation of St. Joseph as patron of the Universal Church. Consecration to St. Joseph in the Year of St. Joseph

On February 24, 2021, the Diocese of Owensboro brought Fr. Donald Calloway, MIC, to the diocese via a Zoom meeting. His presentation, Consecration to St. Joseph in the Year of St. Joseph, was recorded and is available below. You may find Fr. Calloway’s book, Consecration to St. Joseph: The Wonders of Our Spiritual Father | Marians of the Immaculate Conception, available for purchase.

For the first time in the 2,000-year history of Christianity, the Catholic Church is celebrating a Year of St. Joseph! It began on December 8, 2020 and ends on December 8, 2021. In this talk, Fr. Calloway will unpack what this means and how we can take advantage of this special year and consecrate ourselves to St. Joseph.  There is a strong movement of renewed devotion to St. Joseph taking place in the Church today and Fr. Calloway will inspire you to want to get to know and love St. Joseph, your spiritual father, in a deeper and more profound way.
