WHO: All High School Youth (9th-12th Grades).
WHAT: As we journey through the story of the raising of Lazarus, we truly see what it means to be dead in this world and called to life in Jesus. This retreat is an intentional invitation to life in Christ.
WHERE: Boone Lodge at Gasper River Catholic Youth Camp outside Bowling Green, KY. A packing list will be provided upon registration.
WHEN: Friday, February 16 arrival begins at 5:30PM, pickup is Sunday, February 18 at 12:00PM COST: $65 per youth participant (scholarships are available through the Office of Youth Ministry)
FURTHER DETAILS: We are limited to 20 boys and 20 girls for the retreat. Deadline to sign up is Monday, February 5, 2024. We ask each parish to send no more than 10 youth at a time to the retreat so that more parishes can take advantage of the experience. This retreat is meant to be a one-time experience. Please contact us if you have a youth who wants to repeat the experience.
NEW OBSERVER TABLE for Adults: To connect more adults to the Lazarus Retreat, we will be offering an opportunity for adults to attend as observers and experience it before they help lead it. We are limited to 6 observer spots. Please contact the Office of Youth Ministry if you are interested in being an adult observer.
TO SIGN UP: Please send your Registration Sheet, as well as Form A and the Youth Code of Conduct to the Office of Youth Ministry with your $65 payment before the deadline. We will work on a first come, first serve basis, so please send in registrations as soon as you can. Confirmation of your sign up will arrive in a couple of weeks after registration.
